Sweat Power is the undying, never-ending power of love to tear us apart and put us back together again; to heal us and kill us and heal us again, jubilant and renewed. In music, Sweat Power is the primordial heat in our hearts that lights up in loud, dark rooms where music being made with the passion and drama of the human heart. It's like an small, dark egg that we climb inside when the music gets loud to find our true nature as hurt, loving beings, all on the same path to the nowhere of eternal life and love.
Sweat Power Records is a small group of friends and family from Iowa who have banded together to pursue the greater good of Music and Sweat Power. We release music because we believe in it desperately. We are young and we are poor, but we feel, and that is most important to us.
